More often than not when faced with dealing with a Beaver problem in North Georgia, it is instinctive for people to think the solution to the beaver problem is to go and destroy their dam. Your thought is that they will just go away and quit causing problems… Not TRUE! Beavers are highly industrious, therefore, removing dams and lodges has little impact on deterring beavers from an area.

What to expect with Professional Beaver Trapping
When we speak with you we will ask you some questions about your specific beaver situation. Where are the beavers located? How big of a pond, lake or stream are we dealing with? How far from where the trapper would park to the trapping location? How do you know that it is a beaver and not a muskrat, raccoon or something else — Have you seen it? Is the dam or lodge located on your property? This helps us to get a better grasp as to what we are dealing with. Has anyone tried to trap the beavers in the past, possibly educating them to avoid our traps?
BEAVER INSPECTIONS
Although we can give a pretty good estimate after asking questions over the phone, IF you absolutely need a firm price, we can schedule a Wildlife Technician to come to your property to see if we can quickly locate active dams & lodges. We can estimate the size of the colony and the effort that has to go into trapping. That helps us figure out a fair price for the trapping, lodge and dam destruction. The last thing you want to do is destroy the dams before the beavers have been removed. BUT we encourage you to paint a picture of what you are dealing with and we can give you a rough estimate over the phone and come out to start trapping. If you hire us to come out and just get started trapping then you save the inspection fees. Yay!
BEAVER TRAPPING
We charge a flat rate trapping fee for all animals including Beaver. All Beaver jobs are quoted for two weeks! There is NO setup fee, NO per animal fee – simply call us. The trapping fee is all inclusive: Up to ten (10) visits to set the traps, check the traps and to remove the Beavers trapped. It is the law in the State of Georgia that the traps are checked every single day – No exceptions. We have 100% success rate of having the beaver problem resolved & completed within the estimated time of trapping.
BEAVER DAM REMOVAL SERVICES
We find out in advance if you are interested in a quote to restore the natural water flow to the stream or river. The material used to make the dam will be spread in the water (if possible) to provide a natural shelter for aquatic animals and fish. If it is not possible for the material to be left behind then we will take it with us. When we come out to start trapping we will provide you with a price to open up the dam and any lodges.
